Humble beginnings

More than 30 years ago, two Gold Coast (Australia) locals had a vision and it was simple…to design and create a greens roller like no other.

Working together in a home workshop, they devised a revolutionary design which drew upon decades of experience and some engineering genius.

With the ground work done, Tru-Turf was formed in 1989. It was then that the vision became a reality, taking these machines to trade shows across the USA and Europe.

Forging a reputation

Whilst reluctant to move away from the big, well-established brands, soon word spread and orders started coming in, with superintendents from some of the world’s most prestigious golf courses joining the list of people who wanted Tru-Turf used at their course.

For the last 17 years, Tru-Turf has been the roller of choice for the PGA TOUR and with that, Tru-Turf is now the most respected and trusted greens and sports turf roller supplier in the world.

Tru-Turf’s pedigree spreads far-and-wide with some of the world’s most recognised courses choosing to roll with Tru-Turf. They include; St Andrew’s, Augusta National, Pebble Beach and Royal Melbourne.

Still going strong

Fast forward, and after 33 years, the original owners chose to retire, with another Gold Coast local, Scott Bullard, acquiring ownership in late-2021 and he has continued with the mantra of focusing on delivering quality products that assist clubs all around the world to deliver rolling perfection.

With the Head Office in Gold Coast, Australia, a warehouse located in North Carolina, USA, and a strong dealer network in many locations around the world, Tru-Turf has a strong footprint and is there and ready to assist with any inquiries you may have.
